Anns Story.
Ann developed an interest in the mid 1980’s in natural therapies, astrology, tarot meditation & spiritual healing. Over time this has developed into a deep passion.
In 1988 she began teaching, conducting workshops & classes in Aromatherapy, Spiritual & Psychic Development, Meditation & Tarot.
In 1992 she obtained her Diploma of Aromatherapy & Certificate in Flower Essence Therapy. Subsequently, in 1993 she joined the IFA (International Federation of Aromatherapists), becoming treasurer of the IFA National Council in 1996. While serving on the Council she was elected Director of the National Council of Massage & Allied Practitioners. Both of these positions were held until she retired in March 2000.
In 1997 she become a Reiki & Seichim Master & since then has run workshops in Reiki 1 & 2.
In 2000 Ann developed Ancient & Sacred Sites Tours to Ireland & England as a result of her dream & passion to integrate the ancient & sacred landscapes of these countries with her spiritual knowledge, wisdom & healing. For more information see Anns website, ancientsacredsitestours
Over the last 10 years, Ann has promoted products that are environmentally friendly such as Tri Nature. This brought about the development of greeniegoods, our online environmental shop, so that people could access environmental products easily from anywhere in Australia.
Ricks Story
Rick hails from a scientific/medical background. He was born in Sydney & lived in Darwin for many years before relocating to South Australia following cyclone Tracy.
Tertiary education began in 1988 with a degree in Biological Sciences from the Flinders University in South Australia, majoring in neurobiology & biochemistry. Following several years working as a research assistant on medical research projects ranging from drug trials through to circadian rhythm research at Adelaide University, he enrolled in postgraduate studies in Computer Science, culminating in a graduate diploma in Computer Science.
After working as a COBOL programmer & database administrator for several years, another career change occurred following completion of a degree in Diagnostic Radiography at the University of South Australia. Currently, Rick is practicing as a diagnostic radiographer.
Ricks interest in the environment stems from his upbringing in the wilds of the Northern Territory & his studies & work in the biological sciences field. His concerns about the constant environmental degradation & destruction of natural resources we are seeing has prompted him & Ann to set up greeniegoods as an online business to promote & market environmentally friendly products such as those manufactured by Tri-Nature.
